INXS/Michael Hutchence documentary is what we need

Posted: Updated:

I'll admit that listening to INXS and knowing that Michael Hutchence left us 20 years ago still hurts.

I'm not here to bash the death of Hutchence or bash INXS at all. I am looking forward to seeing a full-length documentary in celebration of the band and its venerable lead singer. I mean, Hutchence was, for all intents and purposes, a genius both in the studio and on stage.

Being a music DJ really opens up the mind to many different walks of life in music, and having the opportunity to listen to the catalog of a band like INXS is very rewarding, but this isn't news to you. I'm just rambling.

Granted, the announcement of the documentary came out in 2016, but as the year 2017 goes by, it'd be interesting to see how this documentary turns out.

Check out the whole story here.

What are your thoughts? Do you look forward to something like this? For lack of a better phrase, should we just let sleeping dogs lie?
