The tenth day of the DSC's 12 Days of Christmas starts with a call to Valerie, who contacted the DSC about her niece, Aimee.
Here's what Valerie had to say about Aimee:
Aimee is a hard-working, single parent who was homeless with her seven-year-old daughter, Ava, for a year-and-a-half. She recently got an apartment but just doesn't have money for Christmas or any extras.
She has stuff in the storage that will be auctioned off if she doesn't get it paid off. Items in there are items from her grandmother, who passed away last year, and they are very valuable to her. This money would help her get those memories out of storage and provide Christmas for her daughter.
