SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled his rescheduled October 18th Mattress Firm Amphitheatre show in Chula Vista.
The former Black Sabbath frontman announced on his Facebook page that four concerts from his "No More Tours 2" show will be postponed until 2019.
The former Black Sabbath frontman initially announced on Monday his hospitalization for an infection in his hand had forced him to postpone a Tuesday, October 9th gig in Chula Vista.
From Osbournes' Facebook post:
The four cancelled shows were originally scheduled as follows: Shoreline Amphitheatre At Mountain View, CA (October 6), Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista (October 9), the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (October 11) and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (October 13). The three California shows had previously been rescheduled following his initial prognosis from doctors. All four shows will be rescheduled for 2019.
Osbourne stated in the post that he was "so fu**ing bummed about cancelling these shows."
He added, "The tour had been going great and we were really looking forward to these last few gigs. We’re hoping everyone will be patient and we’ll look forward to seeing them at the shows next year."
According to the Facebook post, Osbourne required additional surgery to treat multiple infections on his right hand.
Ticketholders for the four shows can hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
