An 11-year-old boy stole his mother's car and led police on a late-night chase that reached speeds up to 90 mph before he flipped the vehicle, police said.

The Ohio child was reportedly upset because his mother took away his PlayStation, according to Brooklyn Police. It was the second time in 13 months that he led cops on a high-speed chase.

The boy stole his mother's 2013 Dodge Durango about 10:45 p.m. after arguing with her, authorities said. After she went to bed, he took her keys and drove off, police said.

The boy's father saw him driving his mother's car and called her. The dad began chasing him and the boy tried to hide by pulling into an abandoned fire station, authorities said.

A Brooklyn cop saw the car pull in and stopped to offer help. The child peeled away and the officer began chasing him at speeds that hovered between 70 mph and 90 mph, police said.

Dashcam footage shows the SUV flying down darkened streets as the cruiser tries to keep pace. The child managed to outrun three separate patrol cars, authorities said.

About 25 minutes later, the SUV crashed into a parked car and flipped, police said. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for scrapes and cuts, and later released.

He is currently being held at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center. No charges have yet been filed. He has attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder and oppositional defiant disorder, police said.

In October 2017, the child stole his mother's car and drove through three counties at speeds reaching 100 mph, authorities said. He was charged in juvenile court, but a judge ruled he was incompetent to stand trial and the charges were dismissed, according to Cleveland.com.
